Skiing
In Kilternan, just 30 minutes from Citywest Hotel, the ski club of Ireland owns and operates the only artificial or dry slope facility in the Republic of Ireland.
Classes are held every week-night on the floodlit slope and all day Saturday and Sunday. The qualified instructors are all club members and cater for all levels of skier and snowboarder from beginner to expert.
- The slopes are serviced by two Poma ski lifts.
- The hire of equipment is included n the price.
- Tuition is available for every standard of skier.
- Advance booking is essential for classes.
- Tickets may be purchased from the club for use of the slope for experienced tickets. Group rates are available.
- Snowboarding classes and Free Riding are also available
